AP Polls

Today marks the debut of the AP Poll, further proof of how clever (or cheesy, depends how you perceive us) we are at The NBA Source. We're ranking the teams 1-30 based on who is playing the best basketball right now, not during the past week, or those most likely to win it all, but which squads are the best right now. We are factoring in record, reputation, strength of schedule, etc. So without further ado, we present to you...the AP Polls.

both of you have sacramento over seattle. seattle is definitely playing better than sacramento. didn't seattle recently blow out sacramento? have either of you seen seattle play more than 1 game this entire year? have either of you looked at the standings? the statistics? seattle CAN rebound and seattle CAN play defense. sacramento is playing well, but both of you have the sonics at least a couple spots too low. allen and lewis are the best scoring combo in the LEAGUE right now.

C'mon guys, you haven't been able to tell that we're the biggest Seattle bashers out there yet? You can definitely make an argument for Seattle over Sacramento (that Seattle blowout win was a month ago by the way), but remember that the Kings have won 11 of 12 after that dreadful start and are really beginning to look like the Kings of old. Seattle played two so-so games last week, barely taking down a Kirilenko-less Utah team at home and losing in Portland--two teams with solid post games. I still think the Sonics struggle against the more physical Western teams and until they prove me wrong, they're not going to be considered an elite Western team in my book.
