Friday's NBA Picks

December 3, 2004

Home Team in CAPS

Anthony's Picks

Last Night:(1-0-1), Week:(12-12-1), Year:(87-77-5), Locks:(9-4)

Couple thoughts...First of all, is Yao Ming ever going to show up this year? TMac finally awakes last night, is carrying the team on his back, yet Yao is fumbling around every pass and rebound coming his way. He looks absolutely lost out there. If there was a game to jump-start this Rockets team, it was last night. But one man can't do it by himself and until Yao realizes he isn't on the Shanghai Dragons anymore, Houston's going to struggle. Second, it feels like I'm doing terribly this week, yet as Paul or Phenom or whatever he's going by today, reminded me, I am at .500. I'm one good night away from a really solid week and hopefully assisting you guys in the wallet. Let's cross our fingers, good luck...

Paul's Picks

Last Night:(1-0-1), Week:(14-10-1), Year:(95-73-6), Locks:(11-2)

For the love of Bostjan Nachbar, that's two nights in a row I've been robbed in OT games! I agree with Ant to an extent on Yao, except that he played rather agressively(14 Rebs, 3 Stls, 6 PFs) for a change last night. If he doesn't foul out, Rockets win that game. Regardless, I hope he keeps playing like Gheorghe Mueresan cuz I just traded him in my fantasy league. Most interesting game tonight--Memphis hosting Philly. Can the Grizz win one for the Czar? They've been terrible lately with absolutely no identity, so I'm interested to see what they look like tonight. Sixers are a subpar team, so it's an ideal opportunity for Fratello to get off on the right foot with his squad.
