Paul's Picks:

Last Night: (4-3), Week: (25-27-2), Year: (135-108-9), Locks: (13-4-1)

  • Washington [7-7-1] +7.5 over MIAMI [11-6-1] (L)
  • MEMPHIS [10-9] -4 over Cleveland [7-9-1] (L)
  • Dallas [13-5-1] -8.5 over CHICAGO [6-10] (L)
  • PHOENIX [8-7-2] -8.5 over Orlando [15-1] (W)
  • CLIPPERS [7-9] -3.5 over Boston [6-10]--LOCK (L)

Our worst week yet, although it wasn't terrible. You can start worrying once we show a trend of mediocrity, until then save your bashing for Tony Mejia. Orlando and Miami were both on the road yesterday, so I like them to struggle some tonight. I'm locking on the Clips because Dunleavy has them playing hard every night and simply will not allow them to lose a home game to an Eastern team. These guys know that from this point on, every game is really going to count for them and I fully expect them to take care of business when they need to (4-2 at home ATS when favored).

The NBA is not impossible, there are just going to be certain weeks where lines makers begin to adjust things. As bettors catch on to certain trends, linemakers have to act accordingly and they are doing it well right now. But, Paul and I have done fairly well all season and despite having a rather down week last week, we'll be fine by the end of this week. Stick with us.
