Thursday's NBA Picks

December 15, 2004

Home team in CAPS

Record with individual team in [ ]'s

Anthony's Picks

Last Night:(3-7), Week:(8-15-1), Year:(137-126-9), Locks:(12-8)

  • DETROIT [9-9] -5 over Cleveland [9-9-1] (W)
  • Milwaukee [11-4-1] -2.5 over CHICAGO [6-12] (L)
  • SACRAMENTO [6-9-2] -7 over Lakers [7-6-1] (L)

Okay, I'm getting really pissed off now. Just when a team starts to show promise (Memphis, Golden State, Minny) they get trounced by a crappy team. It's rather frustrating, but I'm not going away from the way I pick. I soon as you shy away from your normal trends, that's when things will switch back to normalcy. Interesting Fact of the Night: the home favorite is 1-6 on Thursday nights thus far. So what am I going to do? Ride those favorites tonight. Cleveland will have a let down after thumping the Blazers and the Lakers just can't hang with Sac-town. Chicago had a remarkable win last night that's why I'm immediately betting against them tonight. I like these games and hopefully I can get back on track. Good luck.

Paul's Picks

Last Night:(4-6), Week:(8-15-1), Year:(143-123-10), Locks:(13-8-1)

  • Cleveland [8-10-1] +5 over DETROIT [13-5] (L)
  • CHICAGO [6-12] +2.5 over Milwaukee [12-4-1] (W)
  • Lakers [5-8-1] +7 over SACRAMENTO [7-9-2] (W)

I'm bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbushed from my first day at work last night, so I don't have much to say. I'm taking all the dogs tonight as they all seem like the safer bet. Until tomorrow...
