Paul's Picks:

Wednesday: (1-1-1), Week: (4-1-2)

  • PHILADELPHIA -7 over Cleveland
  • ORLANDO +6.5 over Detroit
  • Atlanta +9 over TORONTO
  • Charlotte +7 over MILWAUKEE
  • Sacramento -6 over PORTLAND

If you're waiting for the Cavs to turn it around, you're crazy. I've had the luxury (if that's what you want to call it) of watching them a lot the past few weeks and what's troubling is, from an effort standpoint they're just not all on the same page. Sixers should cover this spread with ease. I'm sure my Orlando pick raised a few eyebrows, but I really like this game tonight. For starters, Orlando's season is on the line tonight. With Philly playing Cleveland, this is their one real chance to pick up some ground and they know it. Detroit is settled nicely into the two and while they're playing well and may indeed win this game, look for Orlando to cover with a couple to spare. Atlanta is terrible and they've been getting blown away lately, but from an effort standpoint, they're still giving their all. Toronto on the other hand, has thrown in the towel on the season and has not covered in 5 of their last 6 games against teams still playing for something. Atlanta will keep this game fairly close. Michael Redd is hurting and may not play, the Bobcats are still bringing it and I actually think they'll win this game tonight. The Kings are scoring too well right now for a meager team like Portland to keep up with them. Unless they go cold like they did against Minny last Sunday, they shouldn't have a problem blazing Portland tonight. Good Luck Tonight...
