Wednesday's NBA Picks

April 6, 2005

Home Team in CAPS

Ant's Picks

Last Night: (5-0), Week: (5-0)

  • Milwaukee +7 over BOSTON
  • SAN ANTONIO -9 over Clippers
  • Golden State -5.5 over PORTLAND

And the hot streak continues...Either these games are a lot easier to pick late in the season or I was sniffing too much glue in my office earlier in the year. I really don't care who Boston plays tonight, they're not covering 7 points after playing last night on the road. It's an impossibility. They will win however 102-99. The Clips needed everything they had to nip the Bobcats at the buzzer last night and everything they have won't be even close to enough. Spurs in a romp, 99-81. Finally, I know the Warriors record still stinks even though they've won 6 in a row, but come on, only 5.5 points over Portland? Blazers stink, Warriors roll, 107-94. GLTA

Paul's Picks

Last Night: (3-0-1), Week: (3-0-1)

  • Memphis -1.5 over TORONTO
  • PHILADELPHIA -11 over Charlotte
  • SAN ANTONIO -9 over Clippers

The Grizzlies HAVE to win tonight in Toronto and the Raps seem as though they've essentially called it a season. West vs East/Team Needs It More-- good enough for me. The Sixers have covered all 4 games when they have 3+ days rest since the Webber trade and should prove to be too much for a Charlotte team coming off a heartbreaking loss last night. I also expect the Clippers, who handed the Bobcats that tough loss, to get put away easily by the Spurs tonight. Spurs are too tough at home and too well-rested to let this game be any sort of contest. Good Luck.
