Memorial Day Picks

Home Team in CAPS

Anthony's Picks:
Last Night: Yankee game, sorry
  • SAN ANTONIO -6 over Phoenix

Not sure why Paul thinks this line is high, he must be high. Maybe he doesn't realize PHX is in a 3-0 hole and have zero chance of climbing out. The spread was 4.5 the other night with PHX still having a slim chance at making this a series. Now that they are on the brink of elimination, 6 seems right on target. San Antone should cruise tonight and have plenty of rest for the Finals. Man, I hate them...

Paul's Picks:

Last Night: (0-1)

  • SAN ANTONIO -6 over Phoenix

This line is a little high for my liking, yet I'm firmly confident that the Spurs will bust out the brooms tonight at the SBC Center in front of their hometown fans. It's very tough for a team down 3-0 to muster up enough will and determination to win a game against a team they by now know is superior to them. There's no doubt that the Suns' confidence is shattered and the Spurs will be coming into tonight knowing they just have to play their game in order to win. Popovich isn't the kind of coach who lets an opportunity where you will have over a week of rest slip through his hands. His Spurs will come out for the kill and jump all over Phoenix from the start...and never look back. SAN ANTONIO 119, PHOENIX 104
