Thanks to positive feedback and overwhelming demand, we decided to treat you guys to more photos of NBA players' wives and girlfriends (aka bitches). There's no rhyme or reason in who we chose-- we pretty much put up any pictures we could find. You guys really don't know what the f*** you are talking about. That is Ashanti (the rnb artist) in the picture with Jalen Rose. If you can't even tell black women apart how can you possibly judge their beauty. Please refrain from comments about how they look cause you don't know.

Thanks, Nat. I got that pic from Jalen's website and there was no caption. It's funny because the first thing I said was, "Holy shit, Jalen Rose's wife looks exactly like Ashanti!". I suppose I shouldn't have assumed it was his wife even if his daughter was in the picture with him.
As for the comment above, nobody told you to come to our site. We're not selling our site and we don't make a dime off of it. So if you don't want to read it, then do yourself a favor and don't come here! But don't tell me "to refrain from making comments" about anything. I can and will say what I want, when I want to, and I understand that leaves me wide open to all sorts of criticism. And that's why it doesn't bother me the least bit that you tell me I have no idea what I'm talking about. You as well as I, are allowed to express your opinion and voice any which way you want to. We always appreciate the feedback, whether it's a "fuck you" or a "congratulations". This site has been all about telling it how it is and not restraining ourselves-- it's an advantage we have over almost every single NBA writer out there, and one we're going to continue to pounce all over.

I've gone through both ur archives since u put them up and u guys are good. It aint easy finding stuff worth reading on the NBA, all of it is usually just hype and rumors and garbage, but you guys have a nice approach and I like what ur doing. I like it when people contradict themselves. You say people come on here hating. Well all I read in that articles on NBA wives was hate, even if it was supposed to be funny. This country is full of people talking about 'free speech' and 'this is just my opinion' and so on and so forth. Therefore, it is okay to insult and degrade another man all in the name of free speech and entertaining the ones who are not being attacked. Yet once someone speaks up against the idiocy, that person is horrible after all it is 'free speech'. All in all you can never understand until you walk in the shoes of the people who are speaking up against that NBA wives articles. To the writers, it was a little fun, but you cant take shots at someone who is already wounded to begin with and expect it to be okay. Just think about what you may be saying before you write articles like that cause even though the majority may enjoy not everyone will. Sometimes, people are so ignorant that they don't realize what their words are saying. Again you can't understand because it's not your fault you just can't see it through someone else's eyes. But, I hope this will be a lesson.
What I'm about to say is strictly my opinion and in no way reflects Paul's stance. I think it's an absolute joke that we're being called racist on this website. Yeah, Paul and I are both racist yet we chose to follow a sport that is 90% African-American and write about it on a daily basis. Don't you think if I were racist that I would create a site that follows strictly Caucasian athletes? The main problem we are facing right now is that when people come across an opinion that differs from their own they have to go to extremes to defend themselves. Maybe Brandy Norwood looks good to you and the same goes for La La. I was simply looking to amuse my audience and express my opinions in a humorous manner. Obviously some of our comments were taken in the wrong way and if you were offended, I apologize. The point is, we only took 10 ladies in the first group and most of them happened to be black. That wasn't on purpose, just a coincidence. If Rip Hamilton's girl was on the first crop I would have said how she looks like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. But something tells me that I wouldn't have been called a racist for that...Why is that? According to some of our readers it would be because I'm white and I know my own kind. But because I'm not black I can't judge black women. Or because Paul couldn't distinguish Ashanti in a 3x3 picture, he is most definitely a racist. The point is, racism still exists today because innocent, open-minded people are being labeled as racists. What is so clearly ignored in this situation is how much I love the NBA and if I despised the African-American culture, that would be a rather big contradiction, wouldn't it? Paul and I were going to continue with this piece and make some comments on our second batch of ladies, but honestly, now it’s not even worth it. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but when those statements ruin the fun and humor for others, is it really worth it?
well i am going to take a moment to give props to Paul and Anthony here. I have been around on this site for the entire season and you have provided me with some great entertainment in the form of your articles. I have left comments for almost every article you wrote and it's rather ironic that the two articles that had the least to do with the actual game created most of the buzz around here but even still i am going to be behind them the whole way.. i am not caucasian on african american and this whole racism issue being brought up is very shallow. They are knowledgable about the game and if you dont wanna hear what they have to say about the game or any other rant they decide to go on its your choice to read it and you can tell them to fuck off but you can't tell them to stop speaking their mind.

To Anthony and Paul-
You feel that you were attacked for having an opinion, and that is true. The problem is is that your opinion is product of society - a society that tells you that tanned, skinny white women is beautiful and toned, dark black women are not. Judging from your comments in Part 1 - BEFORE I even read the feedback you got, i was able to pick up the fact you consider the white wives and very light skinned black wives more beautiful than the ones with more Afrocentric features. That is a very clear fact. And as a black woman, it hurts and it is frusturating. Its frusturating not because two guys decided to express their ideas of beauty on a website - but b/c it is reflective of our soceity today. It is why the richer black men get, the lighter their women get. It is why black actresses don't get movie roles unless they are lightskinned and it is because dark black women are simply ignored in the media. You two are being attacked because you own a blog that thousands of people look at and you are just simply perpetuating this frusturating cycle - whether you realize it or not. It doesn't mean your racist, but you are prejudist. Fact remains is, that you don't have to change your views , you have every right to think they way you do. Its just sad, tis all.

I agree with the bias attitude towards good looking black women and even though you may say it's not racist or prejudice I have to disagree. Black women are not only beautiful on the outside but strong and beautiful on the inside and just b/c they don't choose to update themselves with botox and fake boobs doesn't mean their ugly. U guys need to update your photos or at least check them out to see if they're still accurate before you post them. The photo of Richard Jefferson is with his EX, Teresa Lourenco and is at least a year old. They don't date any more. She claims they never dated. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photo of them was also take over a year ago. SI used a file photo and because they didn't state she was his "girlfriend" they could legally do that. From what I know Richard's dating a beautiful white blonde now. He usually dates white girls. Teresa was the first mixed girl he dated. Richard don't care about what people think and won't be pressured to only date black women. He grew up in mostly white area of Az and was taught to accept all people but still has pride in his black heritage. Black athletes should be able to date whoever they want without hearing ish about it from black women or the black community. It's their life.

Personally, if I were to rate beauty based on ethnic stereotypes, my order of preference would have to be: Caucasian (blonde, redhead, brunette), Asian (Japanese and Korean best), Native American, Indian, African, then mid-Eastern. In practice however, I've dated a wide variety of women, and external beauty or ethnicity rarely have much impact on my attraction to any individual woman.
