Sunday's Picks

November 20, 2005

Home Team in CAPS

Ant's Picks:

Last Night: (3-4); Week: (21-23); Season: (79-59)

  • Portland +6.5 over NEW YORK
  • TORONTO +6.5 over Miami
  • Golden State +5 over CLIPPERS>
  • INDIANA -8 over Houston *Tracy McGrady Doubtful*
  • DENVER -5.5 over Memphis
  • Sacramento +3 over SEATTLE
  • Chicago +4.5 over LA Lakers

Paul and I were at the Giants-Eagles game all day and I'm way too beat to write anything on these games. I'll be back, refreshed, tomorrow. Lata

    Paul's Picks:

    Last Night: (2-5); Week: (26-18); Season: (70-68)

    • Portland +6.5 over NEW YORK
    • Miami -6.5 over TORONTO
    • Golden State +5 over CLIPPERS
    • INDIANA -8 over Houston *Tracy McGrady Doubtful*
    • DENVER -5.5 over Memphis
    • SEATTLE -3 over Sacramento
    • LA Lakers -4.5 over Chicago

--The Blazers beat the Knicks handily last week, but probably won't have the same success in a game that takes place at 9 AM for them. Still, I think they cover by a nose. NYK 86-81

--I could honestly see the Raptors pulling this one out. They've looked a little better as of late, but just haven't been able to close one out. Yet for some reason, I'm not taking them. MIA 100-90

--Who would have thought the Clippers and Warriors would be duking it out for the top spot in the Pacific Division? Golden State isn't letting the Clippers run away with this thing. GS 97-95

--The Nuggets have looked sharp lately and are just a much, much better team at the Pepsi Center. Memphis had their hands full with Utah last night and isn't ready for what's coming to them Denver. DEN 103-86

--Including the Playoffs, the Sonics beat the Kings at Key Arena all five times they met last season. And while Seattle has taken a step back, so has Sacramento. SEA 111-104

--Bulls are now 1-40 on the annual 'circus road trip' since 1999, yet I've picked them to win in each of the last two games. I'm not getting burned tonight. LAL 99-91
