Wednesday's Picks

Hopefully the Heat won't be getting too cuddly with the Bucks tonight...They've lost their last two "feature games" as I like to call them, with Shaq and Pat Riley returning. Now that the excitement has calmed, perhaps now they can cover.

Home Team in CAPS

Ant's Picks:

Last Night: (3-3); Week: (6-5); Month: (46-52); Season: (158-143)
  • PHILADELPHIA -10 over Atlanta
  • Chicago -2 over TORONTO
  • Charlotte +8.5 over NEW JERSEY
  • BOSTON +3 over Indiana
  • NEW YORK -4 over Orlando - *Return of Grant Hill*
  • DETROIT -10.5 over Sacramento
  • Lakers +7 over MEMPHIS
  • Miami -2 over MILWAUKEE
  • Phoenix +4 over DALLAS
  • NEW ORLEANS +1.5 over Clippers
  • UTAH -7 over Portland
  • Houston +1 over GOLDEN STATE

I'll explain the Curtis ordeal in the comings days...On to the picks: I see two lines that make absolutely no sense to me: PHI-ATL and DET-SAC, so I took the opposite of the obvious selection. That NY game is a lock because big events like players returning (ala Shaq on Sunday) and new coaches (ala Riley last night) usual sway a large audience to bet with that team. It's almost NEVER works out. Take the Knickerbockers. Stay completely away from the Celtics game as Pierce has a bum ankle and Davis has the flu. The game I feel best about is the PHX-DAL one. Nash knows his opponents very well and should have no problem exploiting their weaknesses. Good luck to all. Articles up tomorrow, explanations, and whatever else you guys are in need of. Peace
