Knicks/Raptors Trade

Isiah Thomas is at it again folks. ESPN's Steven A. Smith is reporting that the Knicks have dealt the expiring contract of Antonio Davis to the Toronto Raptors for Jalen Rose and the year remaining on his monsterous deal. Rose is set to make over $16.9 million next season. At this point however, would we really expect anything different from Thomas?

aww Ant i was hoping to read some funny shit about this from you but i am elated!!! i think wayne embry is a smart man making the next gm job in toronto more enticing by making all the cap room available for the new guy and also it just hilarious to have AD back in a raps uniform he hated it here and this is like payback i dont care if he never suits up but it will be ironic if he retires a raptor! also this gives a chance for joey graham to get more playing time and develop as a player and gives us the opportunity to go after a big this offseason maybe a pryzbilla or nene its a good day for raptor fans ! raps play the knicks tonight going to be fun i am in dubai but will be listening

I wonder how Larry Brown feels about these stupid transactions Isiah keeps making? Sure, Brown is a great coach, but in Detroit he had a GM making the right moves so his job was much easier. There's only so much a coach can do with a terrible team like the Knicks. Brown favors defending, but not a single player on the Knicks roster is a defensive player.

i dont think there was anything stupid about this trade...isiah got rid of an extra big man so his young bigs can get some PT...and stole a first round pick which should be a good one...Jalen will make 17 mil next yr but AD will make 14...not a huge difference of the only bright moves isiah has done

You are missing the big picture here c-los. Davis is a free agent after this season thus his 14 mil will not exist next season. Meanwhile Rose will make 17 mil next season. Now, thats a HUGE difference there. Yet another stupid Isiah trade.
